Why did you join?
While working for STOP AIDS Project and The San Francisco AIDS Foundation, I became called to be part of the Sisters because of my extreme passion and love for San Francisco and the people who live here. This community, a queer quagmire of culture of which engagement can be quite difficult. A community of cliques and classifications who often turn our backs on others who are seeking the very thing we need for our self; acceptance. I’m called as a Sister to work in harmony and unity with others to create a place where all community members can find love and respect among friends. To be as they choose and get what they need without judgment, rejection or isolation.
