Sister Connie Pinko

Fully Professed:

06/14/2011

Mother or Sponsor:

Sister Mary Juanita High

Big Sisters or Guards:

Sister Tuna Noodle Cocktail, Sister Mary Timothy, Sister Viva L'Amour

When Did You Discover Your Calling?:

When I saw the Sisters gathered in Dolores Park to protest on the one-year anniversary of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was empowering to see such an outspoken, unapologetic group of queers. And they all looked so fabulous! Who doesn't think glitter and social change go hand-in-hand?

Religious Beliefs:

I'm spiritual, but don't follow a particular faith. The Sisters really are my Church.

Personal Beliefs:

Social justice, equality, understanding, and glitter. Lots of glitter.

Quotes to Live By:

"I didn't think, I experimented."- Anthony Burgess

Rules to Live By:

Don't be a jerk.
