From swanky cocktail parties to good old-fashioned beverage benefits, the Sisters can be found out and about, almost always raising money for charitable causes. Check out what's coming up on the Sisters' calendar. Keep on top of the Sisters' news and events: sign up for the Sisters' Annuncement mailing list. We'll send out an average of two to three emails a month letting you know what the Sisters are up to and what we'll be doing next. And because we believe spam is a sin, we'll never sell, rent or give away your email address. Interested in having the Sisters attend an event? We're always delighted to be invited to social functions of all kinds, especially the ones that have open bars. However, our favorite events are the ones that combine fun with fundraising. If you think your event might benefit from some Sisterly presence, feel free to drop us a line. |

![]() After a sold-out opening night in June, the Sisters' Bingo is back, and just in time for Independence Month! Proceeds from this bingo will go to the Vets Wing at Fort Miley in San Francisco to help our disabled veterans. July's bingo also features special guest and Sisters' Saint Ethel Merman. Get your tickets today! We want to thank our sponsors NakedSword, Energy 92.7, the BAR and the Merchants of Upper Market and Castro for supporting us in making this monthly charity event happen. Please support these businesses as we cannot produce this event without their assistance. For more exciting details and to purchase tickets online, visit the Sisters' Bingo site! The Green Room at the War Memorial Building Thursday 17 July 2008 2008 Up Your Alley Street Fair Volunteer Training Both the Up Your Alley and Folsom Street Fairs are run by a small army of dedicated volunteers made up of people just like you. Without them, the Fairs wouldn't be as fabulous as they are, and, more importantly, Folsom Street Events would not be able to give out the amazing sums of money that they do. There are plenty of places where you can come and lend your time, energy and talents to helping making this the best year ever. And, in addition to that warm feeling you'll get from knowing you've done something good for the community, you'll also get special volunteer privileges like porta-potties with no lines, a shady place to hang out, deluxe food and more! If you've got the inclination to help out with the Up Your Alley Fair, the Folsom Street Fair, or both, check out the Folsom Street Events website and get in touch with them! Once you've done that, you'll want to attend one of the two training sessions that will be happening before the Fair. The sessions run about two hours and are a great place to meet other like-minded people! If you're planning on volunteering to work the gates (excellent choice!), then you can download the Sisters' handy volunteer guide and get ahead of the game. Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA

The Eagle Tavern Sunday 27 July 2008 2008 Up Your Alley Street Fair Up Your Alley, the notorious "little brother" to the outrageous Folsom Street Fair is the last Sunday in July, so get on your gear and get your hot ass down to Dore Alley. The Up Your Alley Street Fair features over three blocks of the freakiest, sexiest, raunchiest fetish and kink you'll find all summer. In addition to that, Folsom Street Events is celebrating its 25th anniversary and are pulling out all the stops to make this the best year yet. And, of course, the Sisters will be there to work the gates and the crowds. It all adds up to one hot Sunday in July that you won't want to miss. Last year, Folsom Street Events gave out over $350,000 to charity and we want them to be able to give even more away this year. So while you're indulging don't forget to donate generously: 100% of the donations collected at the gates will go to this year's beneficiaries, and the Sisters will get a portion of the gate donations too.
